Clientele

What makes me different? I do not offer or sell insurance or investments. I educate and guide. You pay me an hourly fee. There is no guess work.

If you are newly widowed, anticipating divorce, recently laid off or retired, I can help you put your financial house in order.

I do this by a process we go through together. Each person has different goals; we each relate differently to money, risk and investing. We will identify your unique process and how to make things work for you.

About Me

Many years ago when I first entered the financial services profession, I was required to take a very comprehensive exam to become a Registered Representative. I studied for months in the bedroom closet hidden away from the demands of my three children. Before taking the exam I made a promise that if I passed the exam, I would devote my energy to helping women learn about money. I passed the exam.

The first ten years were spent with two major brokerage firms, Merrill Lynch and Dean Witter Reynolds (now Morgan Stanley). I broke away from the corporate world to start Money In$ight, Inc. which provided basic money education through Continuing Education programs at local colleges. I also gave workshops and seminars at various organizations including: American Assoc. of University Women (AAUW), Business and Professional Women (BPW), Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), and Women in Construction (WIC). I then joined Tiaa-Cref as a Wealth Management Advisor focusing on retirement planning for nine years. After that I joined Income & Asset Advisory, Inc. in Armonk where I have done retirement and estate planning until recently.

I hold a series 7, 63 & 65. I am licensed for life and health insurance in both NY and CT. I am completing my ChFC designation. I hold a BA in Communications and a Master's in Education. For many years I worked with Habitat for Humanity serving three years as Director of the local chapter in Burlington, VT. I spent many years on the board for Girl Scouts USA. I now volunteer with Treehouse of the Bereavement Center in Tuckahoe.

Note to Accountants, Attorneys, Counselors +

Hello, my name is Eileen Hawe and I have worked in personal financial services for almost 30 years.

I am here to assist you in providing full service, added value to your clients. With my many and varied years of experience I can be the extra eyes and ears to guide your client through a difficult time, a life transition.

I am compensated by the client on an hourly basis. I do not sell or endorse insurance or investment products. My goal is to assist a client in understanding the basis for making financial decisions. Aspects of my work involve reviewing a client's objectives, net worth, cash flow and risk tolerance. Where appropriate, recommendatons are made regarding potential tax consequences, disability and life insurance needs, retirement plans, education plans and home-buying alternatives. The client will not be supplied with a comprehensive financial plan or analysis unless specifically requested. Financial reviews will take place on a regular basis.

At the client's request, I will suggest attorneys, accountants, brokers or investment advisors who are willing to work with clients around their particular needs, including social concerns. I will not endorse the advice or fees of these individuals. Nor will I accept or receive fees or other remuneration from these individuals.

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions.

I look forward to working with you.
